In Chang'an City, a number of handsome young men have disappeared, and legend has it that they are the work of a demoness from a foreign land. The trio of constables, Luo Fian, Xiao Ling, the "Drunken Knife", and Seven Winds, track down the murderer by following the scent of rosemary left behind at the scene. In a fight in an abandoned building outside the city, the three constables are unable to defeat the masked man beside the demoness, and Luo Fian never expects the masked man to be Yin Nan, the brother of the South that she has longed for day and night.
